Senate Race Narrows
Republican incumbent Saxby Chambliss and Democratic rival Jim Martin are in a heated race for Georgia’s U.S. Senate seat. The gap between the two has closed dramatically in recent weeks as the economy has taken hold as the No. 1 issue on voters’ minds. The current crisis on Wall Street has paid dividends for Democrats as Republicans have taken the brunt of the blame.

I was actually looking strongly at the Jim Martin campaign until he started telling blatant lies in his ads. Stating that Chambliss was in favor of a 23% tax on everything is just telling such a half truth that it is as bad as lying. Chambliss is in favor of the Fair Tax and obviously Mr. Martin is not, or perhaps Mr. Martin is too stupid to understand it. Either way, Martin lost my vote and hopefully the vote of any other educated voter in Georgia.

It seems Martin is turning his back on the ad you speak of Mr. Perry.
